Do You Take Insurance?

I currently am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, many clients can receive reimbursement for counseling services through their out-of-network mental health benefits. The amount reimbursed varies depending on your individual plan.

To support this process, I provide a monthly superbill, which is an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company.

How Do I know What My Insurance Will Cover?

To find out what your insurance may cover, call your insurance and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage.

You may also want to mention the type of license that I have to ensure services with my type of credential are covered.

Other things you may want to ask about are:

  • What your deductible is and how much of it has been met

  • What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed

  • How many visits do you get per year

  • If you need authorization for your visits

  • What documentation do you need to receive reimbursement (for example, a superbill)

Contact me if you would like more guidance on how to figure out what your insurance will cover.

What form of payment do you accept?

Credit cards, HSA card, along with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company if requested.
